00:00:00: And the next one is from Steinert.
00:00:02: They brought here the EDC move, which is a mobile metal separator and the question is what exactly does this machine running behind us at the moment?
00:00:13: Put simply – The Steinert-EDC Move separates nonferrous metals like aluminium and copper as well as ferrous metals such iron or steel both in one unit.
00:00:28: For the ferrous metals, there is a steinat UMP move overband magnet sitting on top that pulls out nails screws and fittings.
00:00:38: behind That the eddy current separator recovers The non-ferrous metals
00:00:43: And a mobile machine needs to separate just as well As a stationer One but also handle daily transport In rough conditions.
00:00:51: How did you solve?
00:00:53: Exactly!
00:00:54: That was the challenge.
00:00:56: The separation technology comes straight from our stationary plants, so there's no compromise there – For mobile daily use, we adapted a few things.
00:01:11: The operator can reposition the machine easily and level it on uneven ground using hydraulic support legs.
00:01:19: then It will start at the push of button And open design makes cleaning & maintenance straight forward.
00:01:27: for example C frame design lets you change sorting belt in thirty minutes.
00:01:33: no crane No special tools.
00:01:36: Now let's talk about business and what kind of applications is the Steinert-Eddy C move designed for?
00:01:42: Anywhere pre-screened bulk materials still contain metals.
00:01:48: That applies to wood yards processing shredded wood chips just as much as waste handling plants for commercial and construction waste or incineration plants, similar operations.
00:02:01: What a lot of operators underestimate is the metal we separate out directly sellable.
00:02:09: it generates revenue same time the remaining material is cleaner for whatever comes next, whether that's sorting incineration or material recycling.
00:02:21: So it pays off both ways!
00:02:23: And what does a typical deployment look like in practice?
00:02:28: Well take a wood yard – The hook lift version gets delivered set up on support legs and after short setup operator can start.
00:02:38: Then chipped wood runs over the feeder, The overband magnet removes ferrous metals.
00:02:44: The eddy current separator then recovers non-ferrous metals.
00:02:49: At the end you have three clean fractions.
00:02:53: When this site changes the machine gets loaded up and moves with You.
00:02:58: Some of our customers do that on a weekly basis.
00:03:03: Besides the hook lift version, there is also a trailer version with its own wheels and axles.
00:03:11: And depending on what you need we offer options like remote control or mains power connection.
00:03:18: And talking about dimensions – What are key performance figures?
00:03:23: The working width around two metres For wood chips, we are looking at twenty-five to thirty tons throughput per hour which comes to one hundred and forty to a hundred sixty cubic meters per hour.
00:03:38: The diesel tank holds two hundred fifty litres At around four litres per hour.
00:03:44: that gives you sixty three hours before refuelling so about eight full working shifts.
00:03:51: It separates material grain sizes from
00:03:57: five to two hundred and fifty millimeters.
